US G1 Users Getting Official Android 1.5 Cupcake Update ?

Another day, another Android 1.5 Cupcake update. We're getting some reports from our readers that after following the instructions to install the Android 1.5 UK update over to US T-Mobile G1 phones, they're actually receiving the OFFICIAL Cupcake update OTA from T-Mobile USA.

If this happened to you, let us know in the comments! We're trying to see how widespread this ever-so-convenient "issue" is. If this is true, maybe we'll all get Cupcake sooner than was promised. *crossing fingers*
