Nokia N900 or N97? Both sound good to me

With the announcement of the Nokia N900 and the slider QWERTY form factor it was a given that people would compare the two. I plan to do the same once my N900 arrives, but until that happens check out this initial comparison that gives some good advice. One thing I would add for US citizens is that you get 3G with the N97 on AT&T and 3G with the N900 on T-Mobile so this may make that decision much easier.

N900

N97

I personally have been using my N97 with my T-Mobile SIM and it performs just fine. Gravity and Nokia Email work just fine over an EDGE connection and I only miss the 3G when web surfing. My N900 is on pre-order and I am VERY excited about getting it running with T-Mobile 3G. I think it will compare well with my T-Mobile Touch Pro2, which is an excellent device with this same type of QWERTY sliding form factor.

Are there any readers out there who will have both to compare too?
