Motorola to link phones, set-top boxes

In a move that signals greater cohesion between its cellphone and home-products divisions, Motorola has said that it would bring e-mail and social networking functions to television set-top boxes. The MOTOBLUR interface, which ties together social networks, emails and news, is now being tested on set-top devices. Motoblur-enabled set-top boxes will likely ship in late 2010 or early 2011.
