Heat Maps help you get an instant feel for an area by grouping places into categories and displaying their density visually. The darker the color is, the higher the density is. This way you can quickly familiarize yourself with an unknown city and decide where to eat, drink or where to book your hotel.
You can activate Heat Maps by selecting one of the category icons under the “Map View” menu.
Another feature that goes hand-in-hand with Heat Maps, but can be used separately for improved map orientation, is Places as part of the map. By directly displaying the most relevant places of interest we provide you with a richer map that you can read and explore much more efficiently!
Your first question right now is probably, “Which cities are supported?”
So far we offer 50+ cities and are constantly working on coverage expansion.
