Dell Streak to jump directly to Android 2.2 for most users

In a low-key post this week, Dell said it would skip Android 2.1 entirely for most users and move to 2.2. While O2 users got 2.1 this summer, its available staff and promises to carriers meant it would axe the older update for the US and everyone else. The Streak originally shipped with 1.6 and has been the subject of complaints from owners locked out of features available to over 73 percent of Android users, such as faster performance, Flash 10.1 and voice commands....
