Sure, the Palm Pre has been out making waves in Canada for close to three weeks now, but as the folks over at The Globe and Mail pointed out, Bell Mobility’s executives couldn’t even get their poutine-covered hands onto the hot little handset until recently.
As with Sprint’s launch, Bell employees weren’t allowed to buy a Pre until customer demand had settled to the point that the phone was easily available.
Unlike Sprint’s launch, that restriction extended all the way up the Bell chain of command. Bell Execs are only now able to use the hot little number, they had to step aside so our favorite Palm Pre Demo guy could use the Pre to pick up the ladies (as above). Priorities, people.
